Superstar wrestler-turned-fitness expert Diamond Dallas Page has always done things his own way, never taking “no” for an answer. Born into a broken home in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in 1956, Dallas developed drive, dedication and determination at a young age. Those qualities propelled him throughout his life and helped him create DDP YOGA. This revolutionary new exercise system would not only change Dallas’ life, reviving both his health and an imperiled wrestling career, but it would also change the lives of countless others, helping them achieve things they never dreamed possible.

Dallas first broke into the world of professional wrestling as a manager, but his commitment to the craft prompted him to step into the ring himself. He began his professional wrestling career at the “mature” age of 35 and quickly shot through the ranks, reaching superstar status by 40.  Dallas’ career was skyrocketing- titles, fame, and multi-million dollar endorsement deals; his world was a windfall of success. That is, until he was sidelined by a crippling and career-threatening injury: ruptured L4 and L5 discs.

Three medical specialists told him he would never wrestle again but Dallas, in his typical fashion, set about beating that prognosis. Dallas wanted a solution; one that would heal not just the body but his spirit. When it was suggested he try yoga, Dallas initially scoffed, deeming it too “girly.”  But desperate to return to health, he eventually hit the yoga mat, where he was blown away by the discipline’s mind and body benefits.  Soon Dallas put his own spin on traditional yoga, supercharging it to create a heart-pumping workout—a total fitness solution without any joint impact.

In less than 3 months Dallas was back in the ring. With his new breed of results-oriented yoga, fusing flexibility core strength conditioning and resistance training with cardio, Dallas did the impossible:  he not only bounced back from his injury but also sculpted himself into the best shape of his life.  At the age of 43, Dallas was back in top athletic form and that same year earned the Heavyweight Champion title.

Now billed as “Yoga’s Bad Boy,” Dallas has spent the last 12 years fine-tuning his program and is now working with celebrities including longtime friend Jake “The Snake” Roberts, famed wrestler Chris Jericho and comedians Gabriel Iglesias
and Ralphie May. But Dallas doesn’t just train celebrities- he helps thousands of ordinary people, including those with disabilities -- from disabled veterans to victims of MS to people struggling with Asperger’s Syndrome. Dallas’ mission is to help people from all walks of life, providing the tools and work ethic that can turn the “impossible” into reality.
